Did you know?

I hope you all know that every mammal has a spine, which is divided to neck, thoracic, lumbar, sacral and tail (not always) areas. But did you know that all mammals have exactly 7 neck (cervical) vertebrates? Just imagine, we humans, a mouse and giraffe have the same amount of vertebrates. But of course there are exceptions, sloths can have as many as 10 vertebrae, posing as one of the enduring enigmas for scientists. And then there are manatees with 6 vertebrates. So if they want to turn their head, the manatee has to move the entire body.

Just remember, every animal is unique and beautiful.
